Named scholarships & funds

When it comes to earning a college degree, the greatest obstacle can be funding.

For this reason, The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is pleased for the opportunity each year to assist talented, deserving students achieve their dreams, thanks to more than 1,300 named scholarships established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of UA alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations.

Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.

If you are interested in making a significant contribution to student success, please consider a gift to scholarships. You may also establish a named scholarship at The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, which can be created to honor a living person, in memory of a loved one, or to contribute to the growth of an area of study.

Price, Ashley and Gabrielle Scholarship for Baseball

The Ashley and Gabrielle Price Scholarship for Men’s Baseball was established in 2018 by Ashley and Gabrielle Price, and revised in 2020.  This full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to a deserving member of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Men’s baseball team, at the discretion of the Head Baseball Coach.  Ashley is a 1997 graduate of the UA College of Business Administration and was a former Zips Baseball student-athlete. As a UA student, Ashley received a full-tuition scholarship and wishes to provide a similar opportunity for a current member of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Baseball program. Ashley and his wife, Gabrielle, reside in Bath, Ohio, with their two children, Noah and Piper.

The Ashley and Gabrielle Price Scholarship for Men’s Baseball was established with the intent to provide one baseball student-athlete with a full tuition scholarship. The recipient must be an Ohio resident and is to be selected by the Head Baseball Coach. The Prices have also agreed that funds may be broken up at the discretion of the Head Coach to provide scholarship support for more than one baseball student-athlete.
