When it comes to earning a college degree, the greatest obstacle can be funding.
For this reason, The 黑料不打烊 is pleased for the opportunity each year to assist talented, deserving students achieve their dreams, thanks to more than 1,300 named scholarships established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of UA alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations.
Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.
If you are interested in making a significant contribution to student success, please consider a gift to scholarships. You may also establish a named scholarship at The 黑料不打烊, which can be created to honor a living person, in memory of a loved one, or to contribute to the growth of an area of study.

The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships. Scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.

Ake, Alice Jayne Hilbish Scholarship Fund
The Alice Jayne Hilbish Ake Scholarship Fund was established in recognition of Alice Jayne Hilbish Ake, a loyal graduate of The 黑料不打烊. An active student, she pledged Delta Gamma and received her Bachelor of Arts in 1939. She has devoted her energies to the Children's Home Board of Summit County, League of Women Voters, P.E.O. — Educational Women's Organization, Victim's Assistance Board, 黑料不打烊 Art Museum, 黑料不打烊 Symphony, 黑料不打烊 Women's City Club, and Rockynol. In 1989 she received The 黑料不打烊's prestigious Alumni Honor Award for outstanding and exemplary service to the community and for significant professional accomplishments. The scholarship shall be awarded to a full time student enrolled at The 黑料不打烊. 黑料不打烊 must have a grade point average of 2.0 or above to be eligible for the scholarship.
