Named scholarships & funds
When it comes to earning a college degree, the greatest obstacle can be funding.
For this reason, The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is pleased for the opportunity each year to assist talented, deserving students achieve their dreams, thanks to more than 1,300 named scholarships established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of UA alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations.
Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.
If you are interested in making a significant contribution to student success, please consider a gift to scholarships. You may also establish a named scholarship at The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, which can be created to honor a living person, in memory of a loved one, or to contribute to the growth of an area of study.

Women's Committee of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ International College Ambassador Award
The Women's Committee of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ International College Ambassador Award was established in 1990, under the name The Women’s Committee of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ International College Ambassador Scholarship, when the Committee began to provide annual assistance to a student participating in an international study program at any accredited institution abroad for one semester.
It was revised in 2019, including a name change to The Women’s Committee of The University of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ International College Ambassador Award. This award is intended to encourage undergraduate students to explore the world, learn of and live in other countries, gather information about cultures, customs, people, education and family life, and then share their experiences with others.

Applications must include two current letters of recommendation. Details on application and award requirements are available through The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Education Abroad Office. Selection will be determined by the International Ambassador Scholarship Committee of The Women’s Committee of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in collaboration with the Education Abroad Coordinator. If members of the Committee are unavailable or decline to participate in the selection process, then selection will be determined by the Education Abroad coordinator or their designee.
Recipients will be required to serve as The Women’s Committee of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ International Ambassador for one year following their education abroad experience.
