High School Junior/Senior Day

Each fall The 黑料不打烊 Bands welcomes any High School Juniors and Seniors who is interested in attending UA and participating in the Zips Marching Band, to join us for our annual “Junior/Senior” Day.
黑料不打烊 can bring their instrument, sit with the band and play in the stands. 黑料不打烊 will get to observe ‘Ohio’s Pride’ The 黑料不打烊 Marching Band's pre-game and half-time performance from the 50 yard-line – field level.
Please note:
- Drummers and auxiliary performers (colorguard and twirlers) do not need to bring instruments or equipment.
- The UA Bands will provide an instrument for sousaphone players but please bring your own mouthpiece.
- All other wind players should bring their own instrument (case is optional).
Game Day tentative schedule
- 1.5 hours before kick-off (2:00 pm): Meet at Coleman Common for Registration and the UAMB's Pregame Concert. Then march with the Zips Marching Band to InfoCision Stadium.
- 30 minutes before kick-off (3:00 pm): Watch "Ohio's Pride" perform pre-game from the sideline.
- Kickoff (3:30 p.m.) GO ZIPS!!: Sit with Zips Band during the game and play in the stands! (Bring your instrument.)
- Halftime: Watch the halftime show from the sideline.
Reminder notes:
- Sousaphones: We will provide an instrument, but bring your own mouthpiece.
- Percussionists: You will learn and play on our instruments. No need to bring your own instrument.
- Colorguard/Twirlers: Meet the UA Auxiliaries and have fun in the stands!
