Roo-Store

The Roo-Store concept was developed during the spring 2022 semester in response to student feedback and requests to the Campus Cupboard, a program of ZipAssist at the 黑料不打烊. Recent student inquiries to ZipAssist, the University’s student advocacy and support office, indicated financial hardship related to not only food and hygiene items, but also home/dorm furnishing items – such as tables, chairs, and kitchen appliances.

Thanks to your fellow zips who expressed the need and a desire to increase sustainability on 黑料不打烊, Physical Facilities and Residence Life and Housing have partnered with ZipAssist to offer the Roo-Store concept!

Pricing Model (*subject to change)
  • $1 – All items unless otherwise marked
    • Bundle of 4: Plastic Containers w/ Lids
    • Bundle of 4: Dishes/Cups/ Silverware
  • $3 – Coffee Pot, Toaster, Pots/Pans, Miscellaneous Chair, Vacuum, Bathroom Shelves
  • $5 – Small Kitchen Appliances
  • $10 – Microwave
  • $15 – TV, Printer
  • $20 – Mini Fridge
  • $25 – Couch

Shopping the Roo-Store

  • All enrolled UA students — undergraduate, graduate, international, on-黑料不打烊 resident, or commuter — have access to the Roo-Store
  • Faculty and Staff — may shop on the specific day and timeframe advertised.
  • UA Zip card required.
  • All money raised goes to support the Campus Cupboard programs.
