Adams, Carol A. Endowed Scholarship
The Carol A. Adams Endowed Scholarship was established in May 2020, in recognition of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 150th Sesquicentennial Anniversary.
Ms. Adams graduated from The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in 1956 with a degree in Education and led an outstanding 39-year career, primarily teaching third and fourth grade students. Her teaching career began in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, but she later moved to California and taught in Oakland and Los Altos.
Ms. Adams is an avid sports fan, and, although located across the country, makes a point of watching Zips basketball and football games whenever possible.
The Carol A. Adams Endowed Scholarship is open to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the LeBron James Family Foundation College of Education and desire a teaching career in elementary education. To be eligible for consideration, students can be either full-time or part-time. Scholarship assistance will be applied directly to the recipient’s student account for tuition and fees. Recipients will be determined by the University Scholarship Committee.
