Ake, Alice Jayne Hilbish Scholarship Fund
The Alice Jayne Hilbish Ake Scholarship Fund was established in recognition of Alice Jayne Hilbish Ake, a loyal graduate of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. An active student, she pledged Delta Gamma and received her Bachelor of Arts in 1939. She has devoted her energies to the Children's Home Board of Summit County, League of Women Voters, P.E.O. — Educational Women's Organization, Victim's Assistance Board, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Art Museum, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Symphony, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Women's City Club, and Rockynol. In 1989 she received The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's prestigious Alumni Honor Award for outstanding and exemplary service to the community and for significant professional accomplishments. The scholarship shall be awarded to a full time student enrolled at The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ must have a grade point average of 2.0 or above to be eligible for the scholarship.
