Culver, Fredrick J. and Dorothy Williams Scholarship for Excellence
The Fredrick J. and Dorothy Williams Culver Scholarship For Excellence was established as an endowed scholarship in 1999 to honor Fredrick J. and Dorothy Williams Culver for their commitment to The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. This scholarship recognizes their student years at the University, when Fred studied engineering and Dorothy majored in math and English. The Culvers were married in 1937, the year Dorothy graduated from The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
The scholarship fund is to be merit-based and used to attract and retain undergraduate students who have demonstrated outstanding academic accomplishments, a superior personal character, and the promise of becoming exemplary citizens. This scholarship is to be need-based and will support the Scholarships for Excellence program, an initiative to recruit academically talented students to The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
