Cramblette, Judith Ann Endowed Scholarship in Engineering

The Judith Ann Cramblette Endowed Scholarship in Engineering was established in 2008 (and revised in 2016) in loving memory of Judith Ann Cramblette by her husband, Donn, a 1967 graduate of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s College of Engineering. Judy enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at the School for the Deaf in Rochester, N.Y., and was a strong advocate for education and helping those in need. Donn spent a 20-year career at the University of Rochester as a construction manager. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio and New York. Both Judy and Donn were natives of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, and Donn chose his alma mater as a place to provide scholarship support in Judy’s memory as a means to assist students with financial need who are enrolled in the College of Engineering.

The Judith Ann Cramblette Endowed Scholarship in Engineering is to be awarded annually to student(s) at The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ who:

  • Is enrolled full time in the College of Engineering
  • Is beginning his/her junior or senior year
  • Graduated from an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Public High School
  • Has a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preference will be given to female students. If no candidates meet this criteria, the scholarship will be offered to a female junior or senior with a 3.0 GPA, regardless of where she graduated from high school.

Selection of the recipient will be made by a member of the Cramblette family in conjunction with the dean’s office in the College of Engineering.
