Moore, Charles E. and V. Maxine Endowed Scholarship in Music
The Charles E. and V. Maxine Moore Endowed Scholarship in Music was established through a bequest from the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Moore. Mrs. Moore was a 1935 graduate of The University ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ who played the piano and taught music. Mr. Moore worked as an engineer for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. A scholarship also has been established in the College of Engineering in his name. According to the terms of the Moore’s will, this scholarship will be awarded annually to a student in the School of Music who is entering his/her junior or senior year of study and may be used to cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, room, and board, all or in part. The recipient must be a U.S. citizen with a strong academic record and demonstrated financial need. Recipients will be chosen by the Scholarship Committee of The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
