Piirma, Irja and Aleksander Fellowship in Polymer Science
The Irja and Aleksander Piirma Fellowship in Polymer Science provides annual support to a graduate student in the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering’s Department of Polymer Science. Preferential consideration will be given to a student whose work is in the area of biopolymers. The recipient of the Piirma Fellowship will be selected by the Department of Polymer Science Award Committee. It is the donors’ preference that the funds be used to fund one student.
