Collins, Bonnie Endowment for the Arts
The Bonnie Collins Endowment for the Arts was established in June 2024 upon receiving a generous gift from the estate of Bonnie Collins.
Mrs. Bonnie L. (Mullens) Collins (12/06/1930 - 01/02/2024) was an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ native, graduating from South High School (1949) and The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, receiving her associate degree in secretarial science (1964) and bachelor's degree in science in business education (1971).
Bonnie's husband, Eunice E. Collins (11/16/1933 - 07/07/2013) attended ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Public Schools and graduated from Garfield High School in 1952. The two were married on March 1, 1958.
Throughout their lives, The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ was very dear to Mrs. Collins and her husband. Bonnie and Eunice regularly attended The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's annual Jingle Jazz concert and reception until Eunice's death in 2013. After that, Bonnie continued to attend the concert with friends whenever her health permitted.
The Bonnie Collins Endowment for the Arts was established as part of We Rise Together, the Campaign for The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
